This hotel is a hidden gem high above the river, offering stunning views of the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony to enjoy the scenery. The attention to detail is exceptional, from the beautiful design and character of the hotel to the friendly and helpful staff. The Easter brunch was excellent with an abundance of fresh fruit, delicious pastries, and a variety of hot dishes. The location was perfect for exploring the city - within walking distance of many attractions. The bed was comfy and cozy and the room had a nice view of the surrounding area. Free Wi-Fi was available and the signal was strong and steady throughout our stay.
The noise from the street traffic was bothersome and kept us awake at night. The soundproofing was inadequate and the walls were too thin, making it difficult to sleep. The bathroom was small and cramped and the shower was weak and uncomfortable. The breakfast was subpar and lacked variety and quality. Sadly, we didn't feel that this Easter stay lived up to our expectations.

The hotel had a great Christmas atmosphere with beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the building. They also offered a complimentary Christmas dinner for all guests, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to public transportation and close to popular tourist areas. The breakfast was also good, with a nice selection of pastries and fresh fruit.
The room was not very clean and we found some stains on the bedding. The staff didn't seem very interested in helping guests and were not very knowledgeable about the city. Additionally, our room was located on a busy street and the noise from traffic and people outside was very loud and disruptive throughout the night. while the Christmas decorations and dinner were enjoyable, the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service left us feeling disappointed with our stay.

I had the most delightful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I was delighted with the spotless cleanliness and the helpful, friendly staff that went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The location was ideal, as it was within walking distance of everything that mattered, but allowed me to escape from the noisy traffic of the main street at night. I particularly enjoyed wandering around the beautiful garden, which provided a peaceful haven from the bustling city. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay, as it included the most delicious fresh fruit and homemade baking that always left me feeling full and satisfied.
Can’t fault the hotel in any way.

the staff members were warm and helpful in providing us with recommendations to spots unheard of by most tourists. We found our room to be spacious, beautifully decorated, with all amenities including a fresh bottle of water and local Porto wine waiting for us.
The accommodation was situated on a busy road, and we found that our room facing the front of the accommodation was a bit noisy due to traffic.

The breakfast was a real treat, with a variety of delicious homemade options, including cake from the 95-year-old mother-in-law!
